Your kids can do science with Aurora
while
YOU relax, enjoy, and vacation in paradise!
Join me for a summer filled with real science your kids will never forget! It's jam-packed with loads of totally fun activities that are also educational. Your kids will be having a great time, while at the same time keeping their science learning going even during the summer. The best part is that you get vacation in one of the most spectacular and most relaxing planes on Earth.
This summer, I will be teaching
a live, 5-day science camp in
San Luis Obispo, California
(San Luis Obispo was recently named the "Happiest City in America")
Trying to figure out what to do this summer that's going to be fun for the whole family? Also wanting to keep the learning going year-round? This may be just what you are looking for.
Here are all the details, but I have to warn you,
there are currently only 50 spots available!
PLUS tons of special bonuses for the first 10 people who register
(I'm guessing they will fill up pretty fast)
While your kids are learning about rocketry, electricity, chemistry, and robotics, you'll be enjoying beautiful beaches, lush wine country vineyards, hiking the Pacific Coast, boutiques and gourmet shopping, sea life and whale watching, dozen of biking trails, fresh local dining, live outdoor concerts, and much more.
San Luis Obispo is a vacation destination for tens of thousands of people from all over the world each year. Still, it maintains a friendly, relaxed, small-town feel that separates it from typically crowded tourist attractions.
What will your kids learn?
Science Camp is taught by a real mechanical engineer, airplane pilot, astronomer, university engineering instructor, and rocket scientist (Aurora herself)! For kids ages 7-12.
Come join us for a summer jam-packed with learning and fun! Our science camps are NOT just for homeschoolers - they are for everyone interested in doing real hands-on science!

What ages is e-Camp for?
The Supercharged Science Camp is open to kids ages 7-12 years. We want to be sure that our science classes will challenge your child in a meaningful and empowering way.
Older students (ages 13 years and up) may attend as apprentices and complete special projects from Aurora personally, including soldering together advanced robots and constructing super-cool spyware laser projects. (Space is very limited for these apprenticeship slots. Please contact us first before registering.)
How much does the camp cost?
While I personally teach the camp myself, your kids will also be well supported by my team of assistant teachers through every step of every activity. My staff includes science teachers, university engineering students and other science professionals.
Science Camp costs $495, which includes all material costs for the 47 science projects, activities, and experiments your child gets to build and take home (materials are worth over $100).
NOTE: SLO County residents: We have a special discount just for you! Contact us to register.
That's less than $20 per hour of camp!
(some daycare programs cost that much!)
Your kids will have the chance to work personally with me, ask me all their questions and get to experience all my latest material before anyone else does!
ALERT! Get a FREE Hovercraft
Science Kit during the week of Science
Camp when you sign up two or more
family members! Includes parts,
materials, and instructional
DVD. We only have a
handful of these, so when
they’re gone, they are GONE. ($50 value)
Can I really make a great summer vacation for my family that includes Science Camp?

"I LOVED the 'walking on water' experiment - that was my favorite! I didn't think it would work at first, but then I just stepped up and walked right across!"
~Serah, age 8, Santa Barbara
Is Supercharged Science Camp only for homeschool kids?
NO!! Our camps are open to EVERYONE. Supercharged Science reaches many families, including public school, private school, and homeschool kids. I encourage everyone who is interested to join us. I guarantee you'll have more fun than you think!
What will Supercharged Science Camp do for my kids?
Provide a totally fun summer of science education for your kids. To them it feels like just plain summer fun. But as a parent, you know they're learning as much science as they would in three months of science classes. The great part is, it doesn't seem like school at all to them!
Allow your kids to participate in a self-guided format that totally encourages imagination and creativity. Your kids will be interacting with college engineering students and science teachers in an easy-going learning environment. They can do the whole camp on their own without your help, even if you don't know a thing about science yourself, or haven't had the time to do science with them before. No previous experience required.
Give your kids an incredibly fun AND educational science camp experience. Last time we did a camp, over 800 kids joined us for a totally fun experience they won't forget. Parents were impressed by how much kids learned, and how it really helped them to be ready for school in September.
The goal is to bring out this kind of fascination and excitement for fun and learning in your kids. I'm grateful for the chance given to play with and teach your children. We look forward to sharing an amazing year with you and them.
What if I change my mind ?
If you change your mind, you may get a full refund as long as you let me know by June 19, 2011.
What are the science classes like during camp?
In a word... WOW! My first job is to hook your kids on learning and science, so we always start with super-cool experiments like rocketry demonstrations and laser light shows. After your kids are hooked, then we deliver the academics in a way that really makes sense to them.
This video (right) is a sneak preview of a live workshop I did in Alaska recently. I always start my camp by asking questions... (click PLAY now)
How do I register?
There's limited space in Summer Science Camp (because I give individual support kids and don't want to be overwhelmed). As I write this, there are 50 spots available. Since I'm telling over 38,869 families about it, my guess is they will go REALLY fast.
Supercharged Science Summer Camp is: August 8-12, 2011.
You will be sent an information packet containing all the details about the camp, as well as planning your trip, once your registration is complete. Thanks for joining me, and let's make it a fantastic summer together!

Check out some feedback from other parents...
“I just started your Chemistry unit and have been shocked at how enthusiastic my 12 yr. old son is. I confiscated his slime so he can work on other subjects! I know now to do activities before reading the text to engage him.”
~S. Gaines, Atlanta, Georgia
"I love it that I don't have to do a thing! I set my kids in front of the program, and later find them excited and working on something new they created themselves. This program is exactly what we needed! "
~Ursula, Santa Barbara, California
"I gave my reluctant 10-year old son your program. Three hours later, he made us late for an appointment because he couldn't tear himself away! He watched the videos over and over and built things I've never seen before. Thank you so much!!!"
~Barbara & Matt, Valencia, California
"Thanks so much for the fruit battery science fair project. She won second place today in 8th grade division! It is an especially meaningful "victory" for us because Lynne has a learning disability."
~Caroline Fetter, North Carolina
"Forget the kids! I'm excited by science now--teaching and learning. I was almost in tears when we saw the videos and started the experiments because I realized that she has something to follow if I get called away. Thank you again for filling a need in my daughter's life."
